Dear God,

I wasn't off to a good start this morning. The traffic was horrendous. But I'm grateful that I got to the office safely. I realize now that I have a lot to be thankful for - being alive, being in love, being in the company of loved ones. Thank you so much, Lord.

Today, I pray that I will be productive at work. That I can finish the tasks assigned to me. Help me Lord to be a good daughter, sister, girlfriend, and friend. Watch over me and my loved ones so that we'll draw closer to You. Lord, help us be good Christians and help us to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. Take away feelings of anger and resentment. Guide us so we'll know how to deal with aggravating situations, instead of giving in to anger. Grant us peace Lord and lead us so that all our joys and sorrows for this day and the next may be offered for your glory. This we ask, in Your son's name, Jesus Christ and through the intercession of Mary and the saints, Amen.
